[Travel to Korea] Boseong Tea Plantation Light Festival

'Boseong Tea Plantation Light Festival' is held on the green tea plantation, the best tourist attraction in Korea. Light fixtures are installed on a large tree and along the roads around Butjae Tea House and Dahyanggak Observatory to allow visitors to see a variety of things. The lights embroider the sky at night in winter. There are a number of sites and events including a big tree, Green Tea Plantation Theme Street, Milky Way Tunnel of Love, Photo Zone, Light Street, Stairs of Pledge, and Hanging Hope Card. The performances and experience programs for tourists are provided every week.

2014 Seoul Lantern Festival

Since its inception in 2009, the annual Seoul Lantern Festival has managed to put on remarkable displays of lanterns on the famous Cheonggyecheon Stream in downtown Seoul. During the festival period, hundreds of lanterns, each with a unique design and story, will be lit on Cheonggyecheon Stream. Visitors can expect to see lanterns made by international artists, as well as local citizens.

Boryeong Mud Festival has been held at Daecheon swimming beach, there is a unique shell-powered sandy beach only found in Eastern countries. So, you may swim and massage with a mudpack at the same time. Furthermore, there are Mud massage programs and Mud Experiential Land program using mud powder made through the processing procedure, that is, we gather mud from pure plain and remove all impurities.

The 17th Boryeong Mud Festival will be held from July 18th to 27th. There are many events such as mud wrestling, mud king contest, mud fireworks fantasy and mud sliding.
